Garage Door Panel Replacement: When One Section Is Enough
Most dents come from a bumper, a trash bin or a bike. One section is usually enough to replace when:
- The damage sits on one or two sections, and the rest of the door is straight.
- The skin is creased or cracked, not just scuffed.
- A hinge has torn out of the section, or the section no longer meets its neighbor.
- Your door model is still sold in your color.

Sun, Heat and Color Match
Years of desert sun fade door paint. A new section comes in the original color, so it can look brighter than its faded neighbors for a while. We match the model and color where the maker still sells them, and we say so up front if a new section will stand out. Strong light also dries the rubber seal along the bottom edge, which we can replace on the same visit through garage door repair.

Will a new panel match my faded door?
A new section is made in the original color, but years of sun can fade the older ones around it, so the new section may look a little brighter. If that bothers you, ask about new garage door installation.
Can a dented section hurt the way the door runs?
It can. A deep crease can keep a section from closing flat, strain the hinges or rub the track. Have it checked before the damage spreads, and see track repair if the track is bent too.
